The Studio Building

The new Headquarters of leading fine art brands, Winsor & Newton, Liquitex and Conté à Paris. Located ten minutes’ walk from Shepherds Bush and two minutes from Latimer Road tube station, it has easy access to local amenities and is in a hub of artistic and business activity.

The Griffin Gallery

Located on the ground floor of The Studio Building, the Griffin Gallery is a new contemporary art space, 145 sq. m or 1500 sq. ft. The Griffin Gallery has a year round programme of exhibitions t showcasing emerging and established artists, local arts communities and groups. It is open to the public every afternoon from Monday to Friday from 2pm to 5pm. Please contact [email protected] for further details.

The Artists’ Studio

On the 4th floor of The Studio Building are two artists’ studios and the Innovation & Development Department. The winner of the residency will have a spacious ( 32 sq. m or 350 sq. ft.) studio fully stocked with products of choice from Winsor & Newton, Liquitex and Conté à Paris. The studio space has good natural light, daylight strip lighting, and storage space. The other artist’s studio hosts temporary residencies, demonstrations and workshops.

The Innovation & Development Department

Adjacent to the artists’ studios is the Innovation & Development Department. This is where chemists and technicians work on new (and often very exciting) fine art products. They develop quality materials and test them to ensure the highest standards of permanency and stability. In this new and unique venture, the winner will be working next to where his or her materials have been designed and developed.

The Tea Room

Adjacent to the Griffin Gallery, the Tea Room offers a relaxed and fully supported environment for artists and the public to meet and engage. Anyone visiting the Griffin Gallery will find tea, coffee and magazines available. The Tea Room also hosts a programme of talks and seminars on fine art related subjects.
