Jane Dixon

The paintings Tokyo 1 and Tokyo 2 are taken from a large project titled Regeneration (2006-2010) which explored ideas of loss and impermanence through the structure of cities, damaged by war and other causes but subsequently rebuilt.

Jane Dixon’s practice encompasses a wide range of ideologies and narratives, her meticulous, methodical approach not immediately obvious but integral to the work’s success.

Exhibited at Griffin Gallery in Perfectionism in July-August 2014.
