The Residency:
The Fine Art Collective (TFAC) is a global social network for artists, with art materials at its heart. Griffin Gallery supports TFAC with a residency opportunity enabling members to realise projects or undertake research otherwise unfeasible in their place of study or work.

Claire Nicolet:
'I mainly practice drawing, from black and white comics to large formats made with colour pencils. I sometimes explore other media like wooden sculpture, collections of accumulated objects, or painting (more recently). I walk in the street every day keeping my eyes open, waiting for new discoveries, something (un)extraordinary I could meet on my way. I draw things, spaces, shapes and ideas I collect, representing memories, mental landscapes, thoughts, spaces. My work is a playground as the city is my playground.'
